All that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Government Lots
1 and 2 in Section 3, Township 35 South, Range 40 East, bounded as follows: On the
East by what is known as the Old Dixie Highway (State Road 605); on the South by a line
running East and West 198 feet North of the South line of said Government Lot 2; and on
the West by the right of way of the old abandoned U. S. Highway- ~1; and on the North by
Taylor Creek. EXCEPTING the following.
1. Right of way for U. S. No. 1 (State Road No. 5) apd right of way for Old Dixie
Highway (State Road No. 605) as now existing.
2. That parcel conveyed by Munsco Mills, Inc. to Ft. Pierce Junior Chamber of
Commerce, by deed recorded in Deed Book 214, pages 122-124, public records of
St. Lucie County, Florida.
3. Parcel conveyed by M. H. Scott and wife to Sam D. Bennett, Sr. by warranty deed
dated May 30, 1961, and recorded in O. R. Book 11, page 113, public records of St.
Lucie County, Florida.
SUBJECT, ALSO, to lease held by Imperial Florida Oil Company and slope easements
held by the state of Florida. The express purpose of this deed is to vest the fee simple
title sai property solely in M. H. Scott, his heirs and assigns.
