P A R T I A L R-E L E A S E O F M O R T G A G E
KNOW ALL MEN BY TiiESE PRESENTS
WHEREAS, FERM, INC., a Florida Corporation, by Indenture of Mortgage
dated the 28th day of November, A. D. 1958, and recorded in the office of
the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for the County of St. Lucie, State
of Florida, in Mortgage Book 151, Page 27, granted artd conveyed unto
FORNEY NORTON, FRANK DERICE, AND ROBERT F. GRIFFITH, JR., and assigns, the
premises therein particularly described, to secure the payment of the sum
of TWO HUNDF.ED EIGHTY NINE THOUSANll FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-SIX AND N0~100
($289,456.00), with interest as therein mentioned; and
WHEREAS, said FERM, INC., a Florida ~orporat,ion, has conveyed the
property encumbered by said mortgage ~o GENERAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION,
a Delaware Corporation;
Ab'D WHEREAS, THE SAID GENERAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a Delaware
corporation, the owner of tYie property referred to in-the above mortgage,
requested the said FOFtNEY NORTON, FRANK DeRICE, AND ROBERT F. GRIFFITH, JR.,
to release the premises hereinafter described, being part of said Mortgaged
premises, from the lien and operation oi' said Mortgage:
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW YE, That the said FORNEY NORTON, FRANK DeRICE,
and ROBERT F. GRIFFITH, JR., as well in consideration of the premises as
of the sum of FIFTY SEVEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY ONE AND 20100
($57,891.20) DOLLARS, to them in hand paid by the said GENERAL DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION at the time of execution hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, does hereby remise, release, quit-claim, exonerate and dis-
charge from the lien and operation of said mortgage unto the said GENERAL
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation, its successors and assigns,
all that piece, parcel or tract of land, being a part of the premises con-
veyed by said mortgage, to wit:
The Southwest Quarter (SW4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE~) less
the North c74.56 feet thereof; the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of the
Northeast Quarter (NE4); and the North 2,559.48 feet of the South-
east Quarter (SE4) all in Section 4, Township 37 South, Range 40
East, St. Lucie County, Florida
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, with the appurtenances, unto the paid
GENERAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a Delaware corporation, fts successors and
assigns, forever, freed, exonerated and discharged of and from the lien of
said mcrtgage, and every part thereof; provided, always, nevertheless, that
nothing therein contained shall in anywise impair, alter or diminish tY-:e
effect, lien or incumbrance of the aforesaid Mortgage on the remaining
part of sal-d mortgaged p~ ernises, not hereby released therefrom, or any of
the rights and remedies of the holder hereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said mortgagees have hereunto set their hands
and seals this day of November, 1~b2.
