CONTRACT OF SALE
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, Tha t L. L. HO'l'SENP ~LLER
and LUELLA G. HOTSENPILLER, his wife, of Lan10nt Road, Fort Pierce,
Florida, first parties, and INLAND FRUIT CO., a Florida
corporation, with its principal office and place of business at
P. O. Box 341, Leesburg, Florida; second party,
WITNESSETH, That for and in consideration of the sum
of One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable considerations in hand
paid by each of the parties to the other, receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, and also in consideration of the mutual
covenants, rights and obligations herein, have contracted and
agreed as follows:
1. The first parties do hereby sell to the second
party and the second party does hereby purchase from the first
parties the following described property located in St. Lucie
County, Florida, more particularly described as follows:
The North 1/2 of the East 1/4 of the
East 1/2 of the Northwest i/4 of
Section 12, Township 35 South, Range
39 East, St. Lucie County, Florida;
together with packing house, with
the following equipment in said
packing house; soap tank, washer,
dryer, stamper, grading table,
benches and cabinets, and associated
motors with the above; one Ford
tractor with mowing attachments;
irrigation pipe; and electric range,
electric refrigerator and deep freezer.
2. The total purchase price for the above described
property is One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00),
payable as follows:
(a) $15,000.00 at the time of, or before,
the completion and delivery of this
Contract of Sale;
(b) $15,000.00 on or before December 1, 1963,
together with accrued interest at the
rate of siA percent (6%) per annum on
the unpaid principal balance;
(c) $100,000.00 payable in five (5) equal
annual installments of $20,000.00,
beginning April 1, 1964, together with
accrued interest at the rate of 6% per
annum on the unpaid principal balance.
