WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of the budget for the St. Lucie County Board of County
Commissioners, certain funds not anticipated at the time of adoption have become available from the Florida
Department of Transportation for the St. Lucie Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). The Federal
Highway Administration has approved a modification to the current project agreement, increasing the federal
share for the MPO's FY2003/04 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) by $50,000.The Federal Share was
originally established at $597,130, however, this modification authorizes Federal expenditure up to $647,130.
WHEREAS, Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, requires the St. Lucie County Board of County
Commissioners to adopt a resolution to appropriate and expend such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,
in meeting assembled this 17th day of February, 2004, pursuant to Section 129.06 (d), Florida Statutes, such
funds are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year 2003-2004, and the budget for the St. Lucie County Board of
County Commissioners is hereby amended as follows:
