KNOW ALL MEN BY T'ti~SE PRESENTS: '~hat whereas EDWIN BINNEY
STEP,D and JOHN ELVIN STE~1D are the owners in fee of certain real
~roperty in St. Lucie County, Florida, particularly described as
the SW ~ of SE 4 of Section 15, Township 3~ South, Range 39 Eas~t,
less all existing right of ways thereover for drainage canal and
public road purposes; ~nd
WHEREAS, by that certain instrument dated June 27, 1947, the
said EDWIN BINNEY STEAD and JOHN ELVIN S'rEAD, jnined by their
respective wives, ~ntered into a contract with the undersigned
HETTIE ANN STEAD, a widow, granting to her for the term of her
natural life an undivid~d ane-third interest of the gross proceeds
and income to be derived fram the citrus grove planted upon the
rea~ property hereinabo~ve described, which contract was thereafter
recorded in Deed Book 136, pages 342-347, of the public records
of St. Luc.ie C~unty, Florida, and is hereby express ly referred to .
and made a part hereof; and
W'HEREAS, the undersigned HETTIE ANN STEAD ever since the 27th
day of June, 1a47, has been and now is the owner and holder~ of
the entire interest granted unde.r said contract ~a recorded in
Deed Book 136, pages 342-347, public ~ecords of St. Lucie County,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the FEDERAL LAND BANK OF COLUMBZA is about to loan
to the said E?WIN BINNEY STEAD and JOHN ELVIN STEAD Forty Thausand
Dollars ($~0,000.00), to b~ evidenced by their interest bearing
promissery note and secured by a first mortga~e lien to be executed
and delivered by them to said banl, covering th~ real property
hereinabcve aescribed, on the condition thaL the contract dated
and recorded a;~d held by th~ undersigned a~ af~resaid be subordinated
to said mortgage $ecurity; and
WHEREAS, to induce the FEDERAL LAND BAN~C Or~ COLL'MBIA to make
such loan, the undersigned HETTIE ANN STEAD h.as agreed and
