WH~REAS, FRED F. ADAMS on the 1.st day of June, 1965, re-
ques~ed in wri~ing that the Board of County Cnmmissioners of St.
Lucie County, Florida, close, va~ate and abandon that portion of
a public road hereinafter described, and renounce and disclaim any
right of St.. Lucie County ana the public in and to the lands lying
within that portion of said road in St. Lucie County, Florida, de-
scribed as follows:
Tne Sauth 15 feet of the West 252 feet of the
Eas~ 294 feet of the NW~4 of Section 34, Town-
ship 35 South, Range 40 East, lying and being
in J. KE~,LEM'S SUBDIV~SZON as recorded in
Plat Bocak 3, at page 85.
WF-~R~AS, said ~oard of County Commissioners held a public
hearing on said request on the 6t:h day o~ July, 1965, after first
publishing a notice of said hearing in tihe Fort Pierce Ne~.vs Tribune
on ~he 21st day of ~'une, 1~65, said date being mare ~han twc weeks
prior ta the day of said hearing, and
~ti'HEREAS, at said public hearing ~here were no objections to
closing, vacating and abandoning said road and renouncing and di~-
claiming any right of St. Lucie County and the public in and to
the lands lying within said right-of-way, and in the opinian of
the Board of Coun~y Commissioners, it is to the best interest of
the public to close, vaca~e and abandon said ~oad and disclaim and
renounce ~ny right of S~. Lucie County and the public in and ~o the
lands lying within said rzght-of-way.
