possession af the 2~bove described real property, under lease or otherwise,
for tase by personnel of Army infantry combat units, but ~iefore possession
could be taken, a"flash flood" occurred which completely inundated the
lands; wherQUpon the armed forces persoanel in change of the Ft. Pierce
operation reached the decisian that the lanci could nat be used for the in-
tend~ed purpose. Accordingly, the United States of America never inter-
rupted the physical possession of the above described premises under a
written lease or otherwise.
