whi~h may come into my said attorney's hands as such attorney,
or which i now or hereafter may have on deposit ar be en-
titled to;
6. To institute, prosecute, defend, compromise, arbi-
trate and dispos~ of legal, equitable or administrative
hearings, actions, suits, attachments, arrests, di~tresses
or other proceedings, or otherwise engage in litigati~n in
connection with the premises;
7. To ac~ as my attorney or praxy in respec~ to any
~tocks, shares, bonds or other investments, rights or in-
terests I may now or hereafter hold;
8. To execute vouchers in my behalf for any and all
allowances and reimbursements properly payable to me by the
United States, including but not restricted to allowances
and reimbursements for transportation of dependents or for
shipment of household effects as authorized by law or Regula-
tions of the Military Service of the United States of America,
and to receive, endorse and collect the proceeds af checks
payable to the order of the undersigned, drawn on the Treasu-
rer of ~he United States;
9. To engage and dismiss agen~s, counsel and employees,
and to appoint and remove at pleasure any subs~itute for,
or agen~ of my said attorney, in respect to all or any of
the matters oz things herein mentione~ and upon such terms
a~ my attorney sha11 think fit;
10. To prepare, execute and file income and other tax
returns, and other Governmental reports, applications, re-
quests and documents.
GIVTNG AND GRANTING unt.o my saiu attorney full power
and authority to do and ~erfo.rm all and ~very act, deed,
matt~r and thing whatsoever in and about my e:-tate, praper~y
and affairs, as fu11y and effectually to all ii~~ents and
purp~ses as I might ar could do in my o~n prope.~ person if
personally present, the above sgecially enumer~ted powers being
in aid an exemplification of the full, comp~ete and general
powers herein granted, and not in limitation or definitian
thereof; and hereby ratifying all that my said attorney shall
lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue of these presents.
P.ND I HEREBY DECLARE that any act or thing lawfully
done hezeunder by my said attorney shall be binding on my-
sel~, my heirs, legal and personal r~presentatives and
~ assigns, whether the same shall have been done before or
after my death, ar otY~er revocation of this instrument, un-
less and until notice thereof shall have been received by
my said atto~ney.
