BEFORE me, fihe undersigned authority, personally appeared
David L. McCain, who upon being duly sworn, deposes and saysr
I am David L. McCain, attorney at law, and I am now
practicing law and was so during the year 1959. During 1959, your
affiant and his partner, Thad H. Carlton, were attorneys for
Indian River Newspapers, Inc., and your affiant still is attorney
for said corporation. Your affiant has personal knowledge of all
affairs surrounding the execution and delivery of that Deed dated

May 2, 1959, recorded in Deed Book 255, page 463, public records ~
of St. Lucie County, Florida, from Clearwater Sun, Inc., to
Indian River Newspapers, Inc., and those certain Debentures referred
to therein as issued by the News-Tribune, Inc., in August 1953,
numbered 1 through 50, have been heretofore paid in full, satisfied
and discharged, said Debentures having been returned to and now
are in the possession of Indian River Newspapers, Inc., and by
~ virtue thereof the lien, if any, created by reference in the

~ aforesaid Deed has ceased to exist.
