the lawa of the State of Florida, the owner and holder
of a certain mQrtgage deed exe_cuted by INDIAN RIVER
NEWSPAPERS, INC., a corporation existing under the
laws of the State of Florida, to INDIAN RIVER LAND
INVESTMENTS, INC., bearing date the lst day oY August j
A.D. 1960, recorded in Mortgage Book 167, Pages 305-311
in the Office oP the Clerk of St, Lucie County, State
of Florida, securing a certain note in the principal
aum of $8~,000 and certain promises and obligationa
set forth in said mortgage deed, upon the property
situate in said st~te and county described as follows,

to-wit;
Lots 1~, 15, 16 and 17, Block 30 of Pinewood
3ubdivisio~, as per plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 5 at page 2~+, of the Public Records
of St . I,u~ie County, Florici~a, together with
all rights, title and intereat of the grantor
in and to that certain 20-Poot alley lying
between Lots 1~+ and 15, and Lota 16 and 17, above
described, which was abandoned by the City of
Fort Pierce on the 24th day of November, 19~7,
by Ordinance No. C-118; Excepting thereform righta-
of -way for public roads, if any .
~ hereby acknowledges full payment and satisfaction of
aaid note and mortgage deed and surrenders the same
as cancelled and hereby dire~ts the Clerk of aaid
county to cancel the same of record.
