E~CUTIVE ORD$R
WHERSAS, the ends of justice would best be served
~ by assiqninq a State Attorney from another judicial circuit
to proceed to Duval County for the purpose of investigating
alleqations of criminal violations of the laws of this
state which may involve public officials and private indi-
viduals in Duval County, and if necessary to file such
Informations as deemed appropriate and.to otherwise present
such iaatters to a duly constituted grand jury, and
WHBREAS, I find it in the best interest of the
citizens of Duval Countx to issue this Executive Order;
NOW TH$REFORE, I, Claude R. Rirk, Jr., Governor of
the State of Florida, actinq under and by virtue of the
authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of
the State of Florida, do hereby assign, authorize and empower
ti the Honorable CHARLES T. CARLTON, State Attorney for the
~ Nineteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, effective this day,
~
~ to represent the State of Florida in Duval County, Florida .
for the purpose of investiqatinq allegations of criminal
~ violations of the laws c~f this state which may involve public
~ officials and private individuals in Du~~l County, and~if
