MORTGAGE DEED - Page Five
In the event of destruction by hurricane, hail or freeze
of not less than fifty percent (5096) of the citrus crop,
matured or unmatured, to be determined by three (3) reputable
citrus growers, (one selected by mortgagor, one selected by
mortgagee, and the third selected by the two previous~desig-
nees) the maturity of the then next ensuing principal in-
stallment hereunder shall be deferred, to become due and
payable on or before one (1) year following the then last
installment. The relief afforded shall be at the option of
the mortgagor and shall be cumulative in effect; that is to
say, the provisions hereof will be applicable to the losses
sustained mentioned above occurring in more than one single
year.
In the event this mortgage shall become in default
under any provisions contained herein for more than thirty
(30) days after written noticethereof has been provided .
by mortgagee to mortgagor, mortgagee shall have the right
to have a receiver appointed to assure the mortgagee will
from that point thereafter be entitled to receive the net
proceeds of the sale of all fruit picked from the above
groves, to cure the default.
It is the intention of the mortgagor and mortgagee
herein that the lien to be created by this note and mortgage
shall be a crop mortgage and lien upon all of the crop of
citrus and citrus fruits and all other agricultural products, :

~ grown, cultivated, raised, produced or to be grown, culti-
vated, raised or produced by mortgagor on the above described
land until such time as the indebtedness secured by said
note and mortgage shall be fully satisfied. This lien shall
be paramount and superior to any claims for fertilizer, in-
secticides, other spray materials and labor used on the de-
~ mised premises.
If the property subject to this mortgage is conveyed
without the written consent of the mortgagee while any part
of this mortgage remains unpaid, then mortqagee, at his op-
tion, may declare any and all unpaid mortgage balance im-
mediately due and payable.
IN WITNESS WI~REOF, the said mortgagor has hereunto
