said canals , said drainage and irrit~ation being limited to the
drainage or irrigation of said Sections 5, 8, and the N2 of 17.
~ 2. And the parties further covenant and agree that in consid-»
eration of the foregoing and the mutual benefits to be derived from
this Agreement, that the canals and/or drainage ditches and locks
herein involved, shall be maintained by the parties hereto, their

heirs and assigns, on a 50»50 basis. f
3. The parties hereto further covenant and agree that the
rights, privileges and obligations of drainage, ixrigation and main
tenance shall be covenants running with the said lands hereinbefore
set out.
