HomeMy WebLinkAbout0196 RSSQLUTION NO. 68-57 WH$RBAS, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoning Commission after holding a public hearing on May 2, 1968, of which due notice was published at least fifteen ~15) days prior to said hearing, has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County that the foliowing amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Resolution for St. Lucie County be adopted; and WH$R$AS, said Board of County Comanissioners held a public hearing on said recommendation on May 21, i-968 after first pub- lishing a notice of said hearing in The News Tribune, published in Fort Pierce, Florida, on the 3rd day of May, 1968, said date being at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date of said hearing, . NOW, T~REFOREs BS IT RES~,VSD by the Board of County Commis- sioners of St. Lucie County in meeting assembled this 21st day of May, 1968, that the Comprehensi~e Zoning-Resolution for St. Lucie . Countv be and the same is hereby amended by adding a new Distri~t to read as follows: . PiJBLIC SERVICE DISmRICT ' INTENT OF DISTRICT ' The Public Service District is designed to locate public 4 ( utilities and public services which, though they may be large in area, will not involve the use of processes or machinery which ~ will by the emission o£ noise, vibration, odor or other polution create conditions detrimental to the value or existing use of adjacent property. . PERMITTED USES AND STRUCTURES Public utilities and public service plants and facilities, including parks and recreational areas.
