RFSQLUTION NO. 68-64
W~R$AS, the St. Lucie County Planning and Zoninq Commission
after holding a public hearing on May 2, 1968, of which due notice
was published at least fifteen (15) days prior to said hearing,
has recommended to the Board of C~unty Commissioners of St. Lucie
I
County that the following amendment to the District Regulations ~
of the ComprehensYVe Zoning Resolution for St. Lucie County'be
adopted, and
WHSRSAS, said Board of County Commissioners held a public
hearing on said recommendation on May 28, 1968, after first pub-
lishing a notice of said hearing in THE NSWS TRIBUNS, published
in Fort Pierce, Florida, on the lOth day of May, 1968, said date
being at least 15 days prior to the date of said hearing. and
WE~REAS, at the conclusion of said public hearing, the Hoard
of County Comunissioners tabled said matter and thereafter at its
meeting on June 11, 1968 said Board of County Com~nissioners by
motion duly made, seconded and carried removed the matter of the
recommended amendment to the District Regulations from the table.
Nahl, THERSFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board_of County Com-
missioners of St. Lucie County in meeting assembled this llth day
of June, 196a that the District Regulations of the Comprehensive
Zoning Resolution for St. Lucie County be, and the same is, hereby
amended as follows:
1. Amend "PERMITTED PRINCIPAL USES AND STRiI~TURES" in E)ne-
.
' FamiZy Dwelling Districts by adding:
"In R-lAA District only the owner of a parcel of land
containing not less than two (2) acres and who resides
thereon, may keep n~t more than two (2) horses or two
t2) ponies for his personal or family use; provided
they are not placed, kept, or permitted within one
hundred fifty (150) feet of any dwelling under separate
ownership and not less than three hundred ~300) feet
from the edge of the West right-of-way of South Indian
River Drive: ~
