LEASE WITH OPTION TO PURCHASE

This Lease executed 3n duplieate this ~ day of
August, 1968, by and between JOHN J. MATTI~WS, and CHARI.ES SHORTT
and MYRLE SHORTT, his wi£e, hereinafter called respectively Lessor
and Lessees, without regard to number or gender.
WITI~SSETH:
That Lessor hereby leases to Lessee, and Lessees hires from
Lessor, those certain premises with the appurtenanees, situated in
Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, State of Florida, and more partieularly
deseribed as follows, to-wit:
That certain building located at 1215 South ~aelfth
Street, Fort Pierce, Florida, situated on Lot 13,
~Bloek 2, of Sunrise Estates Subdivision, as per plat
thereof on file in'Plat Book 8, at page 75, of the
publie records of St. Lueie County, Florida.
The term shall be for one (1) year, cam~eneing on the lst day
of September, 1968, at the total rent or sum of $1,320.00 Dollars
perannum, lawful money of the United States of America, which the Lessees
; agree to pay to the Lessor, in the following manner:

E ' $110.00 on the lst day of September, 1968, and a like r~
sum on the lst day of each and every succeeding month
until the lst day of August, 1969.
As a part of the eonsideration flawing from the Lessor to Lessees,
the Lessor hereby agrees and grants to the Lessees, the right, option,
and privilege to purchase the demised premises at any time within twelve
(12) months from the date of this lease for the sum of $11,500.00.
In the event the Lessees elect to exercise said option to purchase,
Lessees shall give written notice to the Lessor before the termination
of the option. The Lessor shall within fifteen (15) days after receiving
~ said notice fumnish the Lessees with an abstract of title for examination t
and also with the form of d.eed proposed to be given. The Lessees shall
have thirty (30) days after receipt of said abstract to have it examined
and, if it is approved, to pay the purchase price due the Lessor. The
