COUNTY EROSION DISTRICT, party of the second part, WITNESSETH: i

WHERSAS, Chapter 610, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1855, ~

is entitled "AN ACT to P=ovide for and Encourage a Liberal System i
of Internal Improvement in This State", and the said ACT makes ~
~
reference to "proper objects of internal improvement in relation ;
;
to roads, canals, navigable streams", etc., and the lands herein- ~
~
after described being necessary in connection with canals, j
!
navigable streams, the navigability of the same, the drainage ;
. ;
and protection against flood afforded therebx; and `
WHEREAS, the lands hereinafter described are of ; i

sovereignty character and title thereto appears vested in the ;
Trustees of the Interna 1 Improvement Fund of the State of 4

, Florida, under provisions of Section 253.12, Florida Statutes; ;

The St. Lucie County Erosion District for construction areas in ' ~

, connection with the restoration and beach nourishment project ~
~I at Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, Florida, as detailed in U. S. {
~ Corps of Engineers' Report dated October, 1963: i

~ A tract of sovereignty land in Section 36, Township `
34 South, Range 40 Sast and Section 1, Tawnship 35 ~
South, Range 40 East, St. Lucie County, Florida, ±
extending seaward a distance of 600 feet from the ~ ~
following described traverse of the mean high water
line of the uplands as it existed on January 5, 1967.

of the West Right of Way Line of State Road AlA and ;
