4. Except as herein amended and corrected in the foregoing
particulars, said note and mortgage shall be and remain in full force
and effect.
. Nothing herein contained shall be construed to impair the
security of the Administrator of Veterans Affairs, his successore or
assigns, under esid mortgage, nor affect nor impair any rights and .
powers he or his successors or assigns may have under and by virtue
of said note and mortgage for the recovery of monies due, with interest;
. and this agreement ahall not be considered as a novation, and no other
' provision of said note and mortgage shall be in anywise altered,
changed or corrected, except insofar.as inconsistent with the Service-
men's Read3ustment Act of 1944, as amended, and the Regulations promul-
gated thereunder.
IT IS STIPUTATBD, COVBNANTBD AND AGRBBD that the Mortgagors
are still owners in fee simple of the lands and premisea described in
said mortgage, and that the same are free and clear of all encumbrances
save and except the said nartgage hereinabove described, and that the
Mortgagors do hereby fully warrant title in said lands, and every part
thereof, and will defend the same against the lawful claims of all
persons whomsoever.
