POWER OF ATTORNEY
KNOW A LL MEN BY THESE PRFSENTS, that I, SALLIE M. HALBE
nf 1020 Beach Court, Fort Pierce, Florida, do hereby appoint my husband,
L. W. HALBE, of Fort Pierce, County of St. Lucie, State of Florida, my
attorney, for me and in my name and as my act and deed to do and perform
the following: (a) t~ ask, demand, sue for, collect, recover and receive
all sums of money, debts, dues, accounts, interests, divi,dends, and demands
whatsoever as are now or shall hereafter become due, owing, payable or
belonging b~ me, and to have, use and take all lawfu! ways and meaas in my
name or otherwise for the recovery thereof, and for acquittances or other
sufficient discharges for the same; (b) to make, seal and deliver, b~ bargain,
contract, agree for, buy, sell, mortgage, hypothecate, and in any and every
way and manner deal in and with choses in action or possession and all other
property, real, personal and mixed, and to release ^~+ortgages on lands or
chattels, and to make, do and transact all and every kind of business of
what nature and kind soever; (c) to sign, seal, execute and deliver and acknow-
ledge such deeds, conveyances, leases and assignment of leases. covenants,
indentures, agreements, mortgages, hypothecations, t+ills, bonds~ notes,
checks, receipts, evidences of debt releases, and saiisfaction of mortgages,
judgments and other debts, and such other instruments in writing of whatever
lcind or nabure as may be necessary or proper in the premises; and (d) to pre-
pare and execute income tax returns and act in connection with any audit of any
income tax return by me heretofore or hereaftsr signed, in connection with
which my said attorney is specifically authorized and empowered to enter into
agreements of set#lement, receive and cash checke representing ov~erpayment
of taxes and otherwise perform and do all acts and thiags which I might do or
perform if personally present. GNING AND GRANTING unto L. W. HALBE,
sa.id attorney and his substitute or substitutes, full power and authority to do
and perform all and every act and thing whatscever requisite and necessary
to be done in and about the premises, as fully to all intents and purposes as I
might or could do if pers~ually present, I hereby ratifying and confirming alI
that he, said attorney, L. W. HALBE, or hie substitute or substitutes, shall
lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue of these presents.
