Reportez and Notary Public in and for the State of Florida at Large, at

therein he denied payment of any part of the balance due of $181632.18,
, plus accrued interest, and claimed a mortgage lien upon the lands des-

gage; anci that he made numerous other statements of fact therein which ~
proved to be false when compared to his testimony in the trial of this -
