' UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEM~NT 6RANT
THIS EASEMENT GRANT entered into between ALBERT CARPENTER and DORIS CARPENTER,
his wife, hereinafter referred to as Grantor, and GENERAL OEVELOPMENT CORPOR-
ATION, a.Delaware Corporation duly authorized to transact business in the State
of Florida, hereinafter referred to as Grantee. _
WITNESSETH, that:
WHEREAS, the Grantor is the fee owner of a parcel of land, lying in Section 14,
Township 37 South, Range 40 ~ast, St. Lucie County,~Florida, said parcel of land
being more particularly described in instrument dated April 9, 1968, recorded
in O.R. Book 171 at Page 2126 of the Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida;
and
WHEREAS, Grantee herein did convey said parcel to the Grantor herein, but did
inadvertently fail to provide for a certain Utility and Drainage Easement at
the time of satd conveyance; and
WHERfAS, Grantee has, by reason of recent engineering study, concluded that
an easement of twenty (20) feet in width is necessary at the rear of said
parcel for the installation and maintenance of public utilities and drainage
facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the Grantor hereby grants,
bargains, sells and conveys to the Grantee herein, an easement of twenty (20)
feet in width, more particularly described in the sketch prepared by James ~
Edward Clark, Civil Engineer, under drawing number SL/G41A and dated 1/21/69
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
