CONSTRUCTION PERMIT ~
THIS PERMIT granted this ~ day of May, 1969 by the
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COL~TTY, FLORIDA,
hereinafter called the County, to FORT PIERCE FARMS DRAINAGE DIS-
TRICT, hereinafter called the District.
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, the District desires to improve the channel of its
Main Canal and in order to do so it is necessary that it secure
a temporary permit for the use of the hereinafter described county
road rights of way for the use of its equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual bene-
fits accruing to the parties hereto, the county grants to the Dis-
trict permission to use the following described road rights of
way, to-wit:
Beginning on the East side of the Fort Pierce
Farms Drainage District main canal one half
mile South of Immokalee Road run North along
the East side of said main canal for a distance
of two and one-half (2~) miles.

Beginning at the point where Johnson Road crosses
the main canal of the Fort Pierce Far~ns Drainage
District, run North on the East side of said main
canal one half mile to Indrio Road; thence
West on the North side of said main canal for
one half mile,
for the following purposes: clearing of right of way, use of
equipment on right of way, temporary placing of spoil on right
~ of way and possible bank sloughing; provided, however, that the

~ District shall provide for the maintenance of traffic on said
~
~
~ roads at all times and ahall promptly repair any damage to said
roads resulting from its use of said rights of way.
This permit shall terminate upon the completion of construction
~ 178 ~2IS41.
