Saving and reserving uato the said Board of Coumissioners of 8v~erglades.Drainage
District, and its sucaessors, the right at anq time to enter upon the said'lands
and make or cause to be made or constructed thereon, such canals, sluice•ways,
dikes and ot~r works as may in the judgneat of said Board, or its successora,
be necessary and needful for the drainage or reclamation of any of the lands in
the Everglades Drainage District, and to take from the said lands hereby conveyed
and to use such gravel~ stone or earth as may in the judgment Qf said Board, or
its successors, be necessarq to~use in t~e raaking end,cot~struction o~ asid canals,
cuts~ sluice-ways, dikes and other works upon said~lands for the purposes afore-

And further saving and reservfng unto the said Board, and ite successors, the
right to the exclusive posseseion, occupation, use and enjoyment of a strip of

on each side of the centerline of any canel, cut, sluice-vay or dike tbat has
been or may be made and constructed oa said land~by said Board of Commissioners
. of Everglades Drainage Matrict, or its successors, for the purposes aforesaid, ,
and the exclusive right to take, use, dispose and enjay any timber~ earth, ataae,
rocic or gravel lqing in and upon aaid strip of Iand.
