~'VH$RS~s the Company deems it necessaiy and advisable for its
proper corporate pnrposes to create a new series of bonda to be ~awn
as its First biortgage Bonds, Series L, and to issue presently, under
the provisions of Article N of the Original Indentnre, Twelve Million
Dollars ($12,000,000) in aggregate principal amount of said First
Mortgage Bonds, Series L, to be secured bv the Indentnre as snpple-
mented and modified by this instrament (tLe Indentnre as so s~pple-
mented and modified being hereinafter commonly referred to as the
"Mortgage") ; and
1Va$BSes the Company desires to confirm in the Trustees title to the
additional properties hereinafter specified which it has conatrncted
and acqnired since the execution and delivery of the Fonrteenth Snp-
- plemental Indenture, and has requested _the Trustees to join with it in
the egecntion and delivery of this Sixteenth Supplemental Indentnre;
Wa~BSes each of the conpon bonds and each of the registered bonds
~ithout conpons of Series L, the conpons to be ati~ached to the conpon
bonds and the certi~cate of the Trastee to be endoraed on the bonds
are to be anbstantiaUy in the following forms respectively, to wit:
