WITNESSETH:
Whereas Charles Aubrey Griffin and Aeggie 9nith Griffin executed and delivered
to the said Phebe M. Williams their promissory note secured by a mortgage dated
March 10, 1969, recorded in Official Ibecord Book 176, paqe 654, securing the original
sum of $17,500.00, the balance thereof on November 10, 1969 being $17,208.44; aiid
Whereas, Charles Aubrey Griffin and Pegqie 9mith Griffin, his wife, have this
date sold the property described ir~ said mortgage, to-wit:

WI~IITE CITY, FLORIDA, according to the Plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 1, page 21 af the Public
R~ecords of St. Lucie County, Florida,
to Larry J. Howe and Evelyn M. Howe, his wife, who have agreed to assume and to pay
said mortgage according to the terms thereof, relieving the aforesaid mortgagors of
liability for payment of same, and ~

Whereas, the said Phebe M. Williams is willing to release said Charles Aubrey
Griffin and Peggie S~nith Griffin, his wife fran the responsibility of paying said
mo~gage and to substitute therefor the aforesaid Larry J. Howe and Evelyn M. Howe,
his wife as the obligors and mortgagors;
NaW TI~REFORE, in consideration of the premises and the sum of $1.00 paid by
the obligor to the obligee, the said LARRY J. HOWE and EVELYN M. HD'WE, his wife,

hereby covenant and agree with the said obligee, P~EE M. WZLLIAMS, to assume and
agree to pay said mc~rtgage according to the tenms thereof, as though they were the ~
original makers thereof, and the said P~BE M. WILLIAMS does hereby agree to and
dces hereby release Charles Aubrey Griffin and Peg¢e S~ith Gri.ffin, his wife, from
I; liability and obligation to pay the above described mortgage, and dces hereby agree
~ to substi.tute in their stead and place the said LARRY J. HOWE and EVELYN M. HOWE,
