(herein called "Leasor") and The Housing Authority of the City of Fbrt Pierce ~
(herein called "Authority") a bo~}r corporate and politic, organized and existing ~
under the laWa of the State of Florida; this Lesae shall be eub3ect to the approvel ;
of the IInited States of America acting through the Department of Housing and IIrban
Development. ~
WITNESSE'PH:
The parties hereto for the consideration hereafter set forth covenant and

agree as follows;
1. For the purpose of providing safe, decent, and sanitary houeing for persone
of low income pursusnt to the proviaione of the Housing Authorities Law

of the State of Florida, the Leasor hereby leases and rents to the Authority i
the dwelling units described in Section 1 of ESchibit A r~hich is attached
hereto and made a part hereof (herein called the "Premises"). It is hereby '
agreed that the Lesaor may lease to the Authority the dwelling units '
indentified in Section 2 of bchibit A f~om time to time as such dvelling
units become available and that said units may be added to this Lease by
inserting in said Section 2 of E~chibit A in the epaces provided therefor
the date such units are covered by this Lease, rent per mc~nth, et cetera.
If and ~rhen a dwelling unit has been added to this Lease, it shall become
a part of the Premi.ses herein leased and shall be sub~ect to all of the

te~s, conditions, and approvrils set forth and provided in thia Lease i
9greement and Exhibit A hereof. The Premises shall be sublet by the ~
Authority to lo~a income familiee selected by it to be used and occupied

; olaly by he su lessees as private dwellings. The Authority reserves o

~ itself the responsibility of deteYmining thc aligibility of a subl~ssee F
i for admission and contirrued occupancy and also tne aole right to give '

notice to the sublessee to vacate; the Authority shall consider, but shall ~
not be bound by, representations from the Lessor us to termi.nation of
tenancy.
~ 2. The Authority shall have and hold the Premises for a term of five (5) t
years beginning September 15 , 19 62, and expiring '

3. This I,ease of said Premises is automatically reneaed upon same te~s and '
conditions for t 2 additional terma of five (5) years each beyond the

~ first term, un2ess said Lease htis previ.ously been terminated in accordrince ~
~ ~rith the provisions hereinafter set forth, provided th~t no pt~rt of any ~
5 term under this Lease shull extend beyond fifteen (15~ yer~rs from

dwelling units covered by this I,ease shall be the ssme and the renewal
