ARTICLB 6. ~ ~ NOTICES ~ Section 1. DEFINITION:Wlriiever under the provisions of the ~ statutes or of the Certificate of Incorporation or of these By-Laws, notice is required to be given to any Director or member, it shall not be construed to mean personal notice; but such notice shall be given in . ~ Writing by mail by depositing the same in a post office or letter box in a gostpaid aealed wrapper addressed tosuch Director or member as his ` name appears on the booksof the corporation. Section 2. SSRVICB Q~NOfICS WAIVSR: Whenever any notice is required to be given under the provisions of the statutes or the Certifi- cate of Incorporation, Declaration of Condominium or these By-Laws, a waiver thereof in Writing signed by the person or persons entitled to such notice, Whether before or after the time stated therein, shaii be deemed equivalent thereof. ARTICLE 7. ' FINANCES Section 1. FISCAL YEAR: The fiscal year shall begin the first day of February of each year. Section 2. CHECRS: All checks or demands for money and notes of the corporation shall be signed by the President or Treasurer or by f such officer or officers or such other person or persons as the Board of Directore may from time to time designate. ARTICLE 8. i s~?L ~ ~ f ~ ~ The Seal of the Corporation ahall have inscribed thereon the name of the corporation, the year of its organization and the Words non ~ profit. Said seal may be used by causing it or a facsimile thereof to E be impresaed, affixed, reproduced or otherwise. ~ ~ ARTICLE 9. ~ AMENDMEI+J~S ~ These By-Laws may be amended in the following manner: ~ (a) Notice of the subject matter of a proposed amendment shall ~ be included in the notice of any meeting which a proposed amendment is ~ ~ considered. ~ ~ ? ~ } ~ (b) A resolution adopting a proposed amendment may be propos~3 ; by either the Board of Directors ar by the membere of the Association. ~ Directora and membere not presatit in person or by proxy at the meetinge ; conaidering the amendment may express their approval in writing, providing ~ ~ such approval is delivered to the secretary at ~r prior to the meeting. ~ F.ycccept ae elsewhere provided, auch approvale muet be by at least 75x of ~ the entire membership of the Board of Directors and by not less than 75x : of the votes of the entire membership of the Association; or by at leaet ~ ~ 80X of the votea of the entire memherahip of the Asaociation.
