neither the Company, the '1`rnatees, any paying agent nor any
registrar shall be affected by any notice to thc contrary.
~ No reconrse shall be had for tLe payment o£ the principal uf,
or the interest (or preminm, if any) on, tLis Bond, or for any
alaim based hereon or on the Indentnre or any indenture anpple-
mental tLereto, against any incorporator, or against anp stock-
holder, director or officer, past, present or fntnre, of the Com-
pany, or of any predeceasor or snecessor corporation, as snch,
either directly or througb the Company or any snch predecessor
or snccessor corporation, whether bp virtne of any constitution,
statnte or rnle of law, or by the enforcement of any assessment
or penalty or otherv~ise, all snch liability, whether at oommon
law, in eqnity, by any constitntion, statnte or other~vise, of incor-
porators, stockholders, directors or o~cers being released bp
every owner hereof by the acceptance of this Bond and as part
of the consideration for tLe issnc hereof and being likewise
released by the terms of the Indentnre; provided, however, that
nothing Lerein or in the Indentnre contained shall be taken to
prevent recourse to, and tbe enforcement of the liability, if any,
of, any shareholder for or anp stockholder or snbscriber to capital
stock npon or in retispect of shares of cnpital stock not fnlly paid. ~
This Bond shall not be entitled to any benefit under the
Indentnre or anp indentnres supplemental thereto, or beoome valid
~ or obligatory for any pnrpose, nnti~ Bankers Trust Company,
the Trnstee nnder the Indentnre, or a snccessor trustee thereto
under the Indentnre, shall have signed the form of anthentication
certificate imprinted hereon.
