' As concerns property sitnated in Louisiana, the language of convey-
ance hereof is intended and shall be constrned as an aet of pledge
and mortgage under the la~vs of Louisiana, the Company hereby
binding itself, its snecessors and assigns, not to sell, alienate or en-
cunnber the property included in this Snpplemental Indentnre to the
prejndice of this Snpplemental Indentnre, eacept in compliance with
and upon the terms and conditions atate4 in the Indenture, and the
Trnstee Lerein named is named as pledgee and mort~agee for the bene-
fit of itse~f and of the holders and owners of Bonds issued hereunder,
and the Trnstee ia hereby irrevocably appointed agent of the oivnera
and holders of said Bonds issned herennder and is vested with full
F~~ers to effect and enforce the p2edge and mortgage uerebs created.
Whenever snch action is otherwise permitted or authorized nnder the
f,erms of the Indentare, the Trnstee hereby consents that the Company
may carry or transport any ru7uvr~bl~ pro~rts subjeet to the Lien
hereof permanently beyond the territorial limits of any state in which
snch property may be located at the time.
