HomeMy WebLinkAbout1841 ~ ~ (b) For purposes of calculatinq increases in rent due hereunder, "The Conswner Price.Iadex, U.S. City~Average, All Items" (1957-59 = 100) publi~shed by the Buaeau of Labor Statistics, U. S. Department of Labor, shall be used. which is hereinafter called the "Index". In the event the "Index" is discontinued, the Bureau of Labor Statistics shall be requeated to provi.de a comparable suc- cessive index which will thereafter be used as the "Index". (c) On the firs~~day of January, 197~, and on the first day of January of each third calendar year thereafter, the net monthly rental for the period from then until the next adjustment date shall be determined by multiplying the ~et monthly rent of $588.00 by~ the "Index" for the month of Octoher of the year preceding the date of adjustment and dividing the product thereof by the "Index" for the month of January 1971. The adjusted net monthly rent as determined above shall be in effect until the next date of adjustment of rent. However, the rent shall never be less than $588.00 per month for any period and shall never be reduced below $588.00 per month by reason o~ the rent adjustment provided for herein. , F j ! 6.3.
