2. That in consideration of ths payee-mortgaqee aqreeing
to grant aaid partial releaaes as aforesaid, it ia lurther
miutually understood and aqread that the rate of intereat
oriqinally specified and psovided in said note as seven
per cent (796) per annum ba and the same hereby is modified
and increassd to the rate of nine pertent (996) per annum,
effectiv~ on or after the date of thesa preaents.
3. Sach and every other covenant, term and condition of
said note remains irs full force and effect, unchanged aad
unaffected by thia l~ote Modification. The Nqrtqaqe securinq
eaid note of even date ~ere~with is modified of record in
accordance hercwith:
