$4,000.00 Fort Pierce, Florida January 15, 1971 ~
For value received the undersigned promises to pay to the Order of
DORIS T. CARLTON, a single adult, the principal sum of $4,aQ0.00 -
FOUR THOUSAND AND NO/100 - together with interest thereon from date
at the rate of Eight (8$) percent per annum, to DORIS T. CARLTON, at
430 Vernon Street, Apartment 9, Oakland, California, 94610, said
principal sum to.be payable on the dates and in the amounts specified
below, to-wit:
The sum of $4,000.00 at 8$ per annum, being payable
at the rate of $60.00 per month, commencing on the
lOth day of February, 1971, and the amount of $60.00
on the lOth day of each cROnth thereatter until said
sum is paid in full.
Privilege is reserved to prepay this note and mortgage
at anytime without penalty.
Each maker and endorser severally waives demand, protest and notice of
maturi~y, non-payment or protest and all requirements necessary to hold
each of them liable as makers and endorsers.
Each maker and endorser further agrees, jointly and severally, to pay
all costs of collection, including attorneys fee in case the principal
of this note or any payment on the principal or any interest thereon is
not paid at the maturity thereof.
This note and deferred interest payments shall bear interest at the
~ rate of 8$ per annum from maturity until paid.

`i~his note is secured by a second mortgage, of even date herewith and
is to be construed and enforced according to the laws of the State of
Florida; upon default in the payment of principal and or interest due on
any note secured by said mortgage, all notes so secured and remaining
unpaid shall forthwith become due and pa able notwithstanding their tenor.
