This Aiortgage, dated fhe 16th day of March D. 19 71 , by and between
Jerry L. Roddenberry and Raowena C. Roddenberry, his wife,
hereinafter called the Mort$agor, and Administrator of Veterans' Af fairs, an Officer
of the United States of America, and his successors in such office, as such,
and his or their assigns,
hen~inafter called the Mort~agee.
~VITNESSETH, that for valuable considerations, the said Mort~agor does hereby grant, bargain. setl
and convey unto the said 111ortgagee and his assi~ls, all that certain parc~l of land of which the said
~tortgagor is now seized and possessed and in actual possession, situated in the County of St. Lucie
and State of Florida, described as follows: Lot 12 of Block 4~ REpLAT OF PAI~I GARDENS ~
as per plat thereof on file in Plat Book 12, page 42 of the public records
of St. Lucie County, Florida. ~
Together with all structures and improvements now and hereafter on said tand and the rents, issues s
and profits of the above described property (provided, however, that the Mortgagor shall be entitled to ;
collect and retain the said rents, issues and profits until default hereunder); and all fixtures now or here- "
after attached to or used in connection with the premises herein described and in addition thereto the fol- ±
lowing described household appliances, which are and shall be deemed to be, fixtures and a part of the
realty, and are a portion of the security for the indebtedness herein mentioned.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, and every part ihereof, with the appurtenances of the said
~iortgagor in and to the same, and every part and parcel thereof, unto the said Mortgagee in fee simple.
The Mortgagor hereby covenants with the Mortga~ee* that he is seized of said land in fee simple or
such other estate, if any, as is stated herein; and that said Mortgagor dces hereby futly warrant the title to
said land, and every part thereof, and will defend the same against the lawful claims of all persons
whomsoever.

PROVIDED ALWAYS, that if the 1~Iortgagor should pay to the Mortgag~e that certair~~=omissory
note of even date herewith, made by the Mort~agor and payable to the order of ihe 1VrQrtgagee in the
p~ncipal sum of NINE THOUS~ND 811d no~100- Dollars, payable in tponthly install-
i ments to piincipai and interest of ~ 63.61 starting on the 16th day of ApY'il

~ I9 71 ~ and if not sooner paid the final payment being due on the 16th ~y of March

~ 1996 , or any extensions or renewals thereof and shall fully pay all other indebtedness or liability that
~ may become due and owing hereunder and secured hereby. and shall faithfully and promptly comply with
~ and perfor[n each and every other covenant and provision herein on the part of the Mort~agor to be
, complied with and performed, and every other covenant and provision as contained in that blank or master
q form of mortgage, which is incorporated herein by reference as if set out herein in full, then these presents
shall be void and released at the expense of the Mortgagor, otherwise to remain in full force and effect. The
~ said blank or master form of mortgage was recorded on February 13, 1970, in the Of~icial R,ecords of the
~ Clerk of the Curuit Court of the following counties in Florida in the Official R.ecords Volume and at the
~ page designated after the name of each county, to-wit: (eacept that it was recorded in Bradford, Brevard,
~ Duval and Suwannee Counties on February 9, 1970, and in Dade County on February 10, 1970)
