WHEREAS, by Chapter 67-269, General Laws of Florida as amended
by Chapter 67-2236, General Laws of 1967, it is required that the
STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION shall transfer and convey to the Trustees
of the internal Improvement Fund of the State of Fiorida by properiy
executed deed, title to atl real property owned by such Board and the
officers thereof, and all the right, title and interest in other ~

properties which the Board and its officers manage and control, and
WHEREAS, the STATE BOARD QF EDUCATiON owns, or claims to
own, the real property hereinafter described and desires to convey
i
the same to the Trustees of the Inter~ial Improvement Fund of the State
of ~lorida in compliance with the foregoing statutory provision, NOW
THEREFORE,
THIS INDENTt1RE made between the STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION ,
party of the first part, and the Trustees of the Internal Improvement
Fund of the State of Florida for the use and benefit of the State of
Florida, party of the second part;

W I T N E S S E T H
That the STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION , party of the first part,
pursuant to the mandate of the Legislature of Fforida, hereinbefare
mentioned; and in fu~ther consideration of the mutuat covenants between
the parties hereto, does hereby and herewith convey, transfer, deliver
and set over to the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the
State of Florida, party of the second part, their successors and assigns
forever, all that certain parcel or parcels of land lying and being in
the County of St. Lucie, more particularly described as follows:

I A- West half and West half of Southeast quarter of Section 14,
Township 35 South, Range 39 East. 400 acres less lands to roads and
canals; being the same parcel as purchased from the NORTH ST. LUCtE
;
RIVER DRAINRGE DISTRICT, on 22 November 1950; recorded in Deed Book 161,
