To r~ply promptly i n wri ti ng to any inqui ry from
the Department reyuesting such a reply; and,
Promptly to make available and deliver to the Department
any books, accounts, docunents, other records, information,
or property of or pertaining to the insurer and in his
possession, custody, or control.
No person shall obstruct or interfere with the Department in the
conduct of any delinquency proceeding or any preliminary investigation or
incidental thereto.
This provision shall not prohibit any person from seeking legal
relief from a court when aggrieved by the petition for liquidation or other
delinquency proceedings or other orders.
Any person referred to in this Paragraph No. 16 who fails to
cooperate with the Department or any other person who obstructs or interferes
rrith the Department in the conduct of any delinquency proceedings o r any
investigation preliminary or incidental thereto, shall, upon canviction, be
~ fined not more than ;5,000 or imprisoned in the county 3ai1 for not more

i than 1 year, or both, in the discretion of the Court.
