LEASE AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the State of Florida Board of Trustees of
the Internal Improvement Trust~Fund, by virtue of Section
253.03, Florida Statutes, as amended by Chapter 67-269 and as
further amended by Chapter 67-2236, both acts of 1967, Laws
1
of Florida, holds title to certain lands and property for the ~
use and benefit of the Division of Recreation and Parks, State ~
of Florida Department of Lvatural Resources, and
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Natural
Resources by formal action on January 12 , 19 ?1
authorized and requested the said Trustees to enter into an
agreement with St. Lucie County, Florida, to permit certain '
uses of and activities on the lands and properties hereinafter

described for the purpose of preserving, developing, operating
i
and maintaining said lands and property for outdoor recreational,
~
~
€ park, conservation and related purposes.

E NOW, THEREFORE, this agreement made between STATE

FUND, as LESSOR, and ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORZDA, as LESSEE,
