E~ECUTIVE ORDER NUMBSR 71-9 WHEREAS, I have been advised that the Honorable John T. arennan as the State Attorney of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, has been called upon to investigate a homicide wherein James Cardon was killed, and WHEREAS, I have been advised by said State Attorney that the ends of justice could best be served if he were disqualified to act as investigator and prosecutor of any charges arisi.nq out ~ of or in connection with said homicide because of the below described facts, and WHEREAS~.the decedent,.James Cardon, was the brother of Florence Eckerd, one of the secretaries in the Office of John T. Brennan, and - ~ WHEREAS, one of~'the persons who has been implicated in the initial homicide investigation was a former client of the ~ said John T. Brennan, and ~ E WHEREAS, the Honorable Richard E. Gerstein, State Attorney f ; of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, has advised that he has no { ~ ~ z objection to being temporarily assigned and transferred to the ; Nineteenth Judicial Circuit for the purposes set forth herein, ~ and f ~ WHEREAS, the ends of justice would best be served by assigning the Honorable Ric:zard E.
