be perraitted on any lot unless such sysfem is located, constructed
and equipped in accordance with the requirements, standards and
recommendations of the Florida State Board of Health. Rpproval of
such systew as installed shall be obtained from such authority.
8. Sewage Disposal; No individual sewage-disposal system
shall be permitted on any lot unless such system is designed,
located and constructed in accordance with the requirements,
standards and recommendations of the Florida State Board of Health.
9. Sight Distance at Intersections: No ience, wall, hedge,
or shrub plantings which obstruct sight lines at elevations be-
tween two and six feet above roadways shall be placed or permitted
to remain on any corner lot within the triangular area formed by
the street property lines and line connecting them at points
twenty-five feet from the intersection of the street lines, or in
case of a rounded property corner, from the intersection of the
street pr~perty lines extended. The same sight-line limitations
shall apply on any lot within ten feet from the intersection of a
street property line with the edge of a driveway. No tree shall
be permitted to ie~~in within such distance of such intersection
unless the folia~e line is maintained at sufficient heights to
pre~~nt obstruction of such sight lines.
10. Brush and Undergrowth; I~L-RAY INVESTMENT CO. reserves
the right to remove and destroy tall grass, undergrowth, and weeds
from any vacant, unimproved or unkept lot, and shall charge the
cost of same to the owner of said lot.
11. MeasurAment: The method of determining the square foot
area of proposed bui~dings and structures shall be to multiply the
inside horizontal dimensions of the building or structure. Garages
shall not be included-when determining square foot area.
~ 12. Signs: No signs of any kind shall be displayed to the

{ public view on any vacant lot. However, the display of one
~ professional sign of not more than one square foot, one sign of
~ not more than five square feet, advertising the property on which
~ a home has been constructed for sale or rent, or signs used by a
h»ilder tv advertise the property during the construction and
{ sales period is permissible. No billboards shall be allowed on
E any premises.
13. Definitions: Certain words in these Protective Covenants
and Land Use Schedule are hereby defined. Words used in the
~ present tense shall include the future; the singular includes the
~ plural number; the plural includes the singular; the word "build-
ing" includes the word "structure the word "shall" is mandatory
~ and not directory; the word "lot" in~?~~¢s the word "plot" and
~ "tract".

~ 14. Term: These covenants are to run with the land and shall
~ be bindin~ on all partics and all persons claiming under them for
' a period of fifteen years from the date these covenants are re-
~ corded, after which time said covenants, including any amendments
~ or other changes theretofore made, shall t~e automatical?y extended
~ for successive periods uf fifteen years.
