Carlile Fage Twa (7) To act as our attorney or proxy. in respect to any stocks, shares, bonds, or other investments, rights or interests we may now or hereafter hold; (8) To execute vouchers in our behalf for any and all allowances and reimbursements properly payable ta us by the United States, including but not restricted to allowances and reimbursements for transportation of dependents or for shipment of hausehold effects as authorized by law or Regula- tions of the Military Services of the United States of America, and to receive, endorse and collect the proceeds of checks pay- able to the order of the undersigned drawn on the Treasurer of the_ United States; ~ (9) To engage and dismiss agents, counsel, and em- ployees, and to appoint and remove at pleasure any ~ul,~stitute for, or agent of our said attorney, in respect to all or any of the matters or things herein mentioned and upon such terms as our attorney shall think fit; . (10} To prepare, execute, and file income and other tax returns, and other governmental reports, applications, re- quests and documents; (11) To take possession, and order the removal and shipment, of any of our property from any base, station, post, warehouse, depot, dock, or other place of storage or safekeep- ing, governmental or private; and to execute and deliver any release, voucher, receipts, shipping ticket, certificate, or other instrument necessary or r.onvenient for such purpose. GIVING AND GRANTING untQ our said attorney full power and authority to do and perform all and every act, deed, matter and thing w~ha*soever in and about our estate, property, and affairs as fully and effectually to all intents and purposes as we might or could do in our own proper persons if personally present, the above speciaily enumerated pawers being in aid and exemplification of the full, complete and general power herein . granted and not in limitation or definition thereof; and hereby ratifying a1Z that our said attorney shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue of these presents.
