AFFIDAVIT OF POSSESSION ~.-~.5~3
STATE OF FLORIDA
COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER
RUTH M. ADDERLEY, after being duly sworn by the
"-'-undersigned notary public authorized to administer oaths ~
~ in said state and county, deposes and says that affiant
is the surviving spouse of John W. Adderley, who died on ;
the 2~th day of February, 1964; that affiant and said ~
decedent purchased the following described real property
situated in St. Lucie County, Florida, to-wit:
The S~ of the SW~ of Section 31, Township 35
South, Range 39 East; " -
ALSO
The NW~ of the SWh of Section 31, Township 35
. South, Range 39 East.
Excepting, therefrom, all rights of way for
drainage canals and public roads, ~
by deeds filed in the cffice of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Sx.~kucie Coun~y, Florida, on I?tay 21, 1951, and
recorded therein in Deed Book 165, pages 279 and 289; that
affiant and said decedent took possession of said real prop-
~ erty i~nmediately after Diay 22, 1951, and had a citrus grove
planted thereon; that affiant and said decedent thereafter
continued in open, notorious and hostile pos~session of said real
property and paid all taxes levied against saic~ real property ~
until the death of said decedent on the date mentioned above;
that affiant thereafter continued in open, notorious and hostile ~
possession of said real property and paid all taxes levied #
~ ~ainst said rPal property until the date of this affidavit;
and that since immediately after May 22, 195Y, either affiant
and said decedent, or affiant alone, has been in open, notorious
and hostile possession of said real. property and has operated ~
said real prop~rty as a managed and producing citrus grove.
