PROMISSORY NOTE

FOR VALUE RECEIVED, W. S. DU BOSE, INC. and W. S. DU BOSE,
individually, jointly and severally promise to pay to the FORT
WORZ'H NATIONAL BANK, a national banking association organized and
existing under the laws of the United States of America, the payee,
or order, at Fort Worth, Texas, or such other place as the holder
hereof may direct in writinq, the principal sum of One~Hundred
Sixty-two thousand Dollars (5162,000•00), with interest at the
rate of eiqht and one half per cent (8-1/2$) per annum on the unpaid
principal balance until paid. ;

The aforesaid sum constitutes the proceeds of a construc--
tion loan by TNE FORT WORTH NATIONAL BANK, which sum shall be
disbursed by THE FORT W~ORTH NATIONAL BANK as follows:
Interest shall accrue only on the princinal amounts
actuaily disbursed and sna21 accrue irom tne date ot such disburse-
ments. The entire unpaid balance of prizcipal and interest accrued, '
shall be due and payable on or netore 180 days from the date hereof.
If any payment is not ma~e when due, tne ent:~re unpaid
~ principal sum shall beceme due without notice at the o~tion of ~
' holder, and failure to exercise that option shall not ::Give the ~
E right to exercise same in the event of a subsequent de~ault.
~ In the event of default, the makers agree to aiI

Protest and notice of dishonor is hereby waived. ;
The payment of this note may be anticipated i~ wc.o~e or i:~

due at the end of the term of this note, at the option of tne pa;~ee.
