TEMPORARY EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE, made this 23rd day of November,1971, between
the ST. LUCIE COUNTY EROSION DISTRICT, hereinafter called the
District, and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, hereinafter called ~
the Government. .
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, the Trustee~ of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund ~

of the State of Florida by Easement No. 24908 dated November 7,
1968 and recorded in OR Book 174 at page 14U4 ot tne runiic
Records of St. Lucie County, Florida granted to the District a
Perpetual Easement to enter upon, occupy and use any or all of ~

the lands described therein for the deposit of spoil and, ~

WHEREAS, the Government has requested the District to grant ~
it the use of said lands for a pipe line and disposal area for
~

' dredging operations to be conducted by the U. S. Corps of
~

Engineers in the Fort Pierce Harbor.

~ NOWt TI-~REFORE, in consideration of the benefits accruing to ~

' the parties thereto the said St. Lucie County Erosion District
= does hereby grant unto the United States of America, its officers,
~ agents, servants and contractors the easement, right, privilege -

~ and authority to enter upon, occupy and use any or all of the
a
~ following described lands in St. Lucie County, to-wit:
~ A tract of sovereignty land in Section 36, Township
~ 34 South, Range 40 East and Section 1, Township 35
South, Range 40 East, St. Lucie County, Florida,
extending seaward a distance of 600 feet from the
following described traverse of the mean high water
line of the uplands as it existed on January 5, 1967.
= For a point of reference: Commence at the intersection `

_ of the West Right of Way Line of State Road AlA and -
:
the Southerly line of Section 1, Township 35 South,
= Range 40 East, as established by the State Road De-
partment; thence East along said Southerly line of ~
said Section 1 a distance of 155.84 feet to the ~
Southeast corner of said Section 1; thence East along =
the last described course a distance of 89.76 feet ±
