Commencinq with the first month of the sixteenth (16th) year of the
term of this lease, the annual rental to be paid by Lessee unto Lessor
hereunder sha21 be the greater of the followinqs -
~ij ~rhe amount ot the monthly rental paid durinq the precedinq ;
five years of the term hereof, or
(2) The amount of the monthly rental paid during the preceding
five years of the term hereof multiplied by a fraction, the
numerator of which shall be the aforesaid Cor?sumer Price
Index in effect on the date of the commencement of the six-
teenth year of the term of this lease, and the denominator
- of which is said Consumer Price Index in effect on the date .
of commencement of the eleventh (llth) year of the term of
this lease,~
said monthly rental shall continue in such amount for five (5) years.
Ar,ythi~g herein to the contrary notwithstandinq, the rentals for each
subsequent term of five years shall never be less than the rentals paid
naring the prior five year term.

~ Anything nerein to the contrary notwithstandinq, the rentals for each

~ For all purposes of Section 402 of this Lease, it is agreed that if °

~ az any of zne times specif ied for the determination of the annuai•rental: ~

~ (i) the Bureau of Labor Statistics shall no longer be ma~ntaining such

- Const:ner Price Tndex, then the statistical index maintained by a public
:s ager.cy which shall most nearly correspond thereto shall be used for such
annuai rent determination purposes, and
