30. Construction. This Lease shall be construed ~nd interpreted ~

31. SeveraUi li f.,y. The invalidity in whole or in part of any cov-
enant, prom se or un ertaking or any section, sub-section, seni:ence,
clause, phrase or ~:ord, or of' 8.ny section, sub-section, sentence, clause, ;
phrase or word, or of any provision of this Lease, shall not aff'ect the
valiciity of the renk3ining portions thereof.
