SHORT FORM OF MORTGAGE
This Atortgage, dated the 9th day of February A. D. 19 72 . by and between
Ben3amin E. Partridge ~d M~argaret M. Partridge, his wife,
hereinafter called the 1~lortgagor, end,Administrator of Veterans' Affairs, an Officer of
the United States of America, and his successors in such office, as such,
and his or their assigns,
hereinafter called the Mortgagee,

«'1TNESSETH, that for valuable considerations, the said Mortgagor does hereby grant, bargain, sell
and convey unto the said Mortgagee and his assigns. all that certain parcel of land of which the said
titortgagor is now seized and possessed and in actual possession, situated in the County of St . LuCie
and State of Florida, described as follows: I,ot 26, Block 15, Unit 2, LAKE'WOOD PARK
SUBIDIVISION, as per plat thereof on file in Plat Book 10, page 56, public

Together with all structures and improvements now and hereafter on said land and the rents, issues
and profits of the above described property (provided, howeve~;•,tba~ ~ ishall be entitled to

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, and every part thereof, with the appurtenances of the said
`lortgagor in and to the same, and every part and parcel thereof, unto the said Mortgagee in fee simple.
The rlortgagor hereby covenants with the ;~lortgagee, that he is seized of said land in fee simple or
such other estate, if any, as is stated herein; and that said Mortgagor dces hereby fully warrant the title to
said larid, and every part thereof, and will defend the same against the lawful claims of all persons
whomsoever. 1
PROVIDED ALWAYS, that if the Mortgagor should pay to th~ 111ortgagee that certain promissory
note of even date herewith, made by the Mortgagor and payable to the order of the Mortgagee in Lhe

~ may become due and owing hereunder and secured hereby, and shall faithfully and promptly comply with
~ and perform each and every other covenant and provision herein on the part of the Mortgagor to be
4 complied with and performed, and every other covenant and provision as contained in that blank or inaster
~ form of mortgage, which is incorporated herein by reference as if set out herein in full, then these presents
~ shall be void and released at the expense of the Mortgagor, otherwise to mmain in full force and effect. The
~ said blank or master form of mortgage was recorded on February 13, 1970, in the Official Records of the
~ Clerk of the Circuit Court of the following counties in Florida in the Official Records Volume and at the
~ page designated after the name of each county, to-wit: (except that it was recorded in Bradford, Brevard,
~ Duval and Suwannee Counties on February 9, 1970, and in Dade County on February 10, 1970)
