RESOa,UTION NO. 72-44
WHEREAS, the official zoning atlas of St. Lucie County adopted
by the Board of County Commissioners of said county on ~.he 13th
day of September 1961 is not reproducible and is such a small scale
that it is difficult, if not impossible, to show thereon the
detailed zoning of small lots and~parcels, and
WHEREAS, said Board of Courty Commissioners has caused to be
prepared a revised zoning atlas in a form that is reproducible and
on a larger scale showing the zoning of all lands in the unincorporated
area of said county as it existed on December 31, ].971, and•
WAEREAS~ the Planning and Zoning Commission of said county on
'March 9, 1972, after publishing notice on ~ebruary 17, 27 and March
2, 1972, held a public hearing on the adoption of said revised
atlas and following said public hearing, at which there were no
objections, recommended to the Board af County Commi.ssioners that
said zoning atlas be adopted, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hear-
ing on the adoption of said revised zoning atlas on April 11, 1972,
after first publishing notice of said hearing in the News Tribune
at Fort Pferce, Florida on tt~e 20th day of March 1972.
' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
~ sioners of St. Lucie County iri meeting assembled this llth day of

' April 1972 that the revised zoning atlas consisting of 277 pages,
t
each of which bears the manual or facsimile signatures of the
Chairman and Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners and the
seal of said board, is hereby adopted by reference as the Official
Zoning Atlas of St. Lucie County, as of the 31st day of December,
1971.
