IV.
(A) No later than thirty days from the date of the
entry of this Final Judqment, the Defendants, at their own
expense, shall do the following:
~i) Construct a new plug in the canal at a '
lxation so that its centerline is approximately 365 feet
west of the west bank of the north-south leq of said canal,
and at the location shown in the survey attached hereto,
designated as ~ibit A, and with the new plug being de-
~ scribed therein as "proposed dike".

(ii) Construct the new plug so that it completely
spans the width of said canal and so that the top of the new
plug is at least 15 feet wide in an east-west di.rection; the
base not less than 20 feet, nor more than 25 feet wide in an
east-west direction and with the height of the plug matching
surrounding land grades.
(B) The plug preseritly situate in the canal shall
not be removed or altered until the cvnstruction of the new
glug has been completed, in accordance with the tenus of this
Final Judg~ent.
.(C) The Defendants and their grantees, successors,
or assigns, shall -,aintain the plug described in Paragraph
IV(A) in such a manner that there is no intermingling of the
saline waters of the Indian River with the waters of the canal
west of the plug as finally constructed; so that the waters
west of the plug, as finally constructed in said canal, do not ~
i~termingle with the saline waters of the Indian River; so #

that there is~no depletion of the fresh water table surrounding ~

the canal due to the presence of said canal; so that there is ~
no instursion of saline waters into the fresh water table sur- z
. rounding the canal due to the presence of said canal; and so 's
