BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COt'i~tI~SION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That from and after the effective date of this Ordin-
ance, the following descriDed property, to-wit
A strip of land fifty t50) feet in width north and south

and fifty (50) feet in len~th east and west across the~
right-of-way of the Florida East Coast Railway Company
in the City of Fort Pierce, the center line of said strip
of land bein~ located at a point t~ao hundred seventy-nine ~
and eiehty-five hundredths (279.85) feet,.;nore or less,
southerly from said Rail;aay Cor~pany's ~ ~-iile Post 241, said ;
strip of land also at the location of what is known as ' y
Avenue `~E" (Spruce Street) as indicated on the Plat of ~
ASSE3S~R'S MAP OF ;iORTH PAFT OF FCRT PIERCE, as filed on
Beeember 13, 1908 in Plat Book 1, Pages 151-164 in Saint
Lucie County, Florida Pu~lic Recor~s. j
I be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned, exceptina
! however, reserving unto the City of Fort Pierce a public utility ease-
ment over and across said land.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be and become effective immedia-
tely upon the opening of the crossing for the new South Bridpe. j
