EASEMENT FOR CANALS AND ROADS
THIS EASEMENT made this 2~th day of July . 1972,
by DOROTHY HUFF STEVENS, a married woman, joined by her husband,
WALTER B. STEVENS, hereinafter collectively called the Grantor, to
SUZANNE S. EBERHART and WILLIAM D. EBERHART, her husband whose
mailing address is 5532 Priory Lane, Birmingham, Michigan 48018;
BEVERLY S. PETRIE and BRUCE I. PETRIE, her husband, whose mailing
address is 5940 Crabtree Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243; and WILLIAM
B. STEVENS and GERTRUDE N. STEVENS, his wife, whose mailing address
is 113 Robinwood Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45i74; hereinafter col-
lectively called the Grantees; each of said Grantees receiving an
undivided one-sixth (1/6) interest in said easement as a tenant in
common, it being the Grantor's intention to create a tenancy in
common and not a tenancy by entirety between Grantees who are
husband and wife (as well as the her Grantees);
(Wherever used herein the terms "Grantor" and "Grantees"
include all the parties to this instrument and their heirs,
legal representatives and assigns)
W I T N E S S E T H:
Whereas, on June 20, 1961, Dorothy Huff Stevens and others
purchased from W. W. Carlton, also known as Wright W. Carlton, and
Annie G. Carlton, also known as Annie Carlton, his wife, certain
lands in Sections 4 and 5 of Township 37 South, Range 38 East, and in
Sections 32 and 33 of Township 36 South, Range 38 East, all in St. ,
Lucie County, Florida, as shown by deeds dated and filed for record
on June 20, 19b1, recorded in O£ficial Records Book 12, at page 513
(Whitaker Groves Incorporated), page 5I7 (W & W Groves Company, Inc.),
page 522 (Norman V. Huff), page 526 (Robert F. Huff), and page 530
(Doxothy Huff Stevens), all in the pu~bZic records of St. Lucie County,
Florida; and ~ "
Whereas, in an instrument entitled "Easement for Canals
and Roads" dated December 30, 1961 recorded in Official Records Book
28, Page 585 St. Lucie County, Florida records, the said purchasers
granted to ~ach other certain easements, reciting as background
therefore the following:
"In order that all of the property may bQ developed and
used most effectively, it is necessary that the parties
grant to each other certain canal and road easements. S
.
Accordingly, and in consideration of the mutual benefits
to be derived therefrom, the parties do qrant and
impose easements as set forth below. Sections 4 and
5 referred to below, lie in Township 37 South, Range 38
East, and Sections 32 and 33, referred to below, lie in
