AFFIDAVIT

BEFORE ME, i:he undersigned authority, personally appeared
L.W. SCOTT and MARY SCOTT, his wife, who, first being duly sworn
upon their oath, depose and say:
1. That they are the owners of the following described
property:
The NW 1/4 of Section 17; the West 1/2 of Section 8;
The West 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 8, and the
NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 8, all in Township
34 South, Range 39 East, St. Lucie County, Florida.
2. That the above described property is free and clear
of all liens, taxes, encumbrances and claims of every kind, nature
and description, whatsoever, except for mortgages whic h will be
paid simultaneously with the sale of the above described property
to Lake Iiamilton Citrus, Inc.
3. That there have been no improvements, alterations or
repairs to the above described property for which the costs thereof
remain unpaid.
4. That there are no mechanics', materialmen's, or labor-
ers' liens against the above described property.
5. That affiants know of no violations or county ordi-
nances pertaining to the use of the above described property.
6. That this a ffidavit is made for the purpose of in-
ducing LAKE HAMILTON CITRUS, INC. to purchase the said property
from affiants.
7. Affiants agree that in the event the current real
estate and personal property taxes vary in amount from the figures
~ used in making the prorations in closing the transfer and convey-
ance of the above described property to said purchaser, then a new
proration and a correct and proper adjustment will be made upon
demand.
10. Affiants know of their own knowledge that the above
described property is not possessed or occupied by any persons or
I entities other than the affiants and that there are no pending or
~ known clai.ms of intere~t in said property adverse to the interest
~ of the affiants other than rights-of-ways, easements and drainage
~ easements of record.
